At the beginning of March, the Rockcote team went to the Sydney Build Expo, Australia’s largest construction and design show, held at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The two-day event showcased the latest opportunities in NSW and Australia. The event attracted more than 20,000 people over the two days, many of which were contractors, architects, engineers, housebuilders, developers, government, and construction professionals.
Rockcote was one of 500 exhibitors, sharing a stand with NRG Building Systems, who were featuring their product NRG Greenboard™, an insulated wall panel that combines exterior cladding with EPS insulation.
Rockcote brought the outside in with an exterior wall mimicking the outside of a house. It included a designed arch coated with Fincote and the rendered fence wall with your letterbox, mostly featuring our Coloured Render Range.
This 6x3m custom-built stand was picked up from Queensland and delivered to site (and returned) using the ICC Contractor, DB Schenker. The stand featured the below products:
- Cerano
- Sandcote Hydratech
- Otsumigaki
- Finecote
- We also showcased our new and upcoming product: MicroStone

With a big push towards the Rockcote walling system, where we give you the solution of a walling and render system in one, we were thrilled to receive such positive feedback.
This was our first Sydney Build Expo but certainly not our last. It was a great opportunity to showcase Rockcote to a wider audience in one place, we are excited to attend again in 2024.
