The Hamilton Project showcases a restrained, contemporary approach to residential design, where material selection plays a defining role in the overall aesthetic. Central to the exterior finish is Rockcote QRender Grey, chosen for its consistency, durability, and refined cement-based appearance.
Used as the base render across the façade, QRender Grey delivers a smooth, even surface that supports the project’s clean architectural lines without overpowering them. Its stable finish and reliable workability made it an ideal choice for achieving the crisp, controlled look the design required.
This result is the product of strong collaboration across the project team. The architectural vision was led by Michael Hope of Michael Hope Design, brought to life on site by O’Shea & Sons Builders, with expert rendering carried out by Nick Preston Rendering. The final composition was captured by architectural photographer Shoot to Sell, highlighting the subtle texture and tonal depth achieved through the render system.
The result is a cohesive, understated façade where Q Render Grey quietly does its job, providing the foundation for a modern finish
