The Kelvin View Project demonstrates how a carefully chosen material palette can shape a home’s atmosphere, with Rockcote Marrakesh playing a defining role in its interior expression. Inspired by traditional Tadelakt finishes, Marrakesh brings a soft, stone-like texture that feels both natural and refined, adding depth without overwhelming the architecture.
Applied by NMD Plastering and Rendering, the finish showcases the skill required to achieve Marrakesh’s signature seamless, hand-crafted surface. Its subtle movement and mineral quality complement the home’s architectural clarity, creating interiors that feel warm, tactile, and quietly luxurious.
The design vision was led by architect Robert Hardwood, with interior direction and styling by Resident Avenue and stylist Heather Nette King, resulting in a layered, cohesive aesthetic that balances restraint with richness.
Captured by photographer Armelle Habib, the finished spaces highlight Marrakesh’s strength as a material that softens modern forms while still delivering a sophisticated, gallery-like finish.
The result is a calm, textured interior where Marrakesh becomes more than a surface treatment, it becomes part of the architecture itself.
