Bringing a little piece of Bali to Melbourne, Social Studio Group has created a beautifully considered outdoor space that captures the warmth, tranquillity and effortless charm of tropical design.
Located in Airport West, Melbourne, the creative photography studio offers a versatile setting for photography and content creation, with its Bali-inspired courtyard providing a serene escape from the everyday.
Designed by Social Studio Group’s Creative Director, Nikolina Mabic, the space combines soft curves, natural tones and organic forms to create an inviting environment that feels both relaxed and refined.
From the sculptural archway to the built-in seating and outdoor shower, every element has been thoughtfully designed to create a cohesive, resort-inspired atmosphere.
Rockcote finishes contribute to the courtyard’s organic aesthetic, complementing the curved architectural features and bringing depth and character to the space.
The combination of natural light, earthy tones and beautifully crafted surfaces creates a versatile backdrop for photography, while offering a sense of warmth and tranquillity.
Rockcote products, including Cerano, MicroStone and Repel, were incorporated into the project to help achieve its distinctive aesthetic.
The finishes work alongside the courtyard’s architectural elements to create a seamless connection between form, material and design.
The result is a thoughtfully curated outdoor space that brings the relaxed beauty of Bali to the heart of Melbourne.
